Saturday, October 7, 2023: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening Celebration Fireworks

Join the celebration with Elvis Aaron Presley Jr., the Bridgeport High School marching band, a parade of antique cars, local mascots and local dignitaries as we cut the ribbon to open our brand new Boscov’s in the Eastwood Mall.

• Grand Opening Ribbon-Cutting ceremony starts with Boscov’s Grand Opening Parade, including the Bridgeport High School 85 piece marching band, at 9:30 a.m.!
  LOCATION: Boscov’s parking lot entrance (rain location is Boscov’s interior mall entrance)

We’ll cut our ribbon with the help of Brad Riffee, President of the Harrison and Doddridge United Way. Joining them are representatives of their partnering United Way agencies. This special ribbon made up of $100 bills will give each agency the opportunity to snip off their own bill representing Boscov’s commitment to local non-profit Organizations. The final bill in the ribbon is a $1,000 bill for the United Way.

He’s appeared on the NBC “Today” show, “Fox & Friends,” RFT-TV, WeatherNation and television stations across the United States. Over the past 12 years, he has visited hundreds of schools and non-profit organizations, exposing thousands of kids to hands-on science.

• Elvis Aaron Presley Jr. was the son of the late Elvis Presley, born out of wedlock on December 24, 1961. He was born in Gary, Indiana as the result of a liaison between Elvis Presley and Angelique Delores Pettyjohn, a young actress who was an extra in the film “Blue Hawaii.” Elvis Jr.’s talent as a musician and entertainer is a gift to all who enjoy the works of his late father. His looks, style, grace and demeanor are a testament that the King’s Legacy indeed continues.
